This is a quickie because I just noticed something about my own Facebook Page’s Timeline – Timeline lets you schedule posts!
Chances are that this isn’t news to anyone who actually bothered to do the “Welcome To Your Page” tour, but I have no patience for that crap so I skipped it and have pretty much winged it. Maybe that’s arrogant of me, but I’m confident enough in my technical skills that I only “RTFM” if I’m stuck.
Anyhow, to get to the point, check out the two images below. I don’t think any further explanation is required.
That’s it! Click the little icon at the bottom left, pick your date and time, and hit “Schedule”! Awesome! Now you can schedule posts for throughout the day or week all at once and just let it happen.
You can also go to “Edit Page > Use Activity Log” to view scheduled posts and re-schedule, publish, or cancel posts.
Surprisingly useful and well-thought out. In fact, my only complaint about this functionality is that I find the menus for controlling pages to be less than intuitive, but since I’ve just shown you what to do that’s not a problem in this case.
